We are recruiting an Estimator for a large-scale commercial print and packaging firm in Philadelphia. You will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide variety of projects, from simple collateral to complex corrugated packaging. This role requires meticulous cost analysis, calculating material, labor, and machine costs while liaising with external vendors for specialty services. You will be a key user of the company's MIS system, providing the sales team with the technical advice needed to win new business profitably.

Requirements

• Cost Analysis: Calculate material, labor, and machine costs for various print jobs.
• Vendor Liaison: Obtain quotes from external suppliers for finishing, paper, and freight.
• MIS Integration: Utilize the company's ERP/MIS system to generate and track estimates.
• Technical Advice: Advise the sales team on the most cost-effective production methods.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in estimating within a print or packaging environment.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software (e.g., EFI, Avanti).
